Forming a central swath from 13.2 metres (43'4") of crop, our BiG Swath System turns three passes into one – cutting, conditioning and windrowing. In addition, it reduces the number of passes, reduces compaction and is gentle on the turf. The augers in the front and side mowers feed the crop to the centre of the machine without the material dropping on the ground and being contaminated, forming highly uniform and fluffy swaths. As a result, the following harvesters can work faster and finish earlier. The BiG Swath System not only cuts grass but also winter forage and whole silage crop. Central windrowing is gaining in importance on a global scale, be it in silage making for forage or substrate making for biogas installations.
