COVID-19 Customer Update 18/03/2020
Dear Customer
Following government advice, KRONE UK have taken the following measures to ensure the safety of our employees, dealers and customers. Whilst we remain fully open, we have made temporary changes to our daily business to cope with these uncertain times. We will continue to support dealers and customers with sales, after sales and spare parts as we all work together to put food on tables.
The key changes to our business are outlines below:
SALES:
On the back of the wet winter, we appreciate that many farmers and contractors delayed purchasing decisions until the spring. As we are now entering spring we are on hand to help with these purchases.
- Our Territory Managers and Product Marketing Specialists are fully contactable by phone, email, video call etc. to offer advice.
- An extensive library of machine information, videos and presentations are available on KRONEmedia @ www.krone-uk.com/english/services
- Visits by KRONE personnel are limited to ‘essential visits’ only following social distancing protocols.
- All visits will be pre-arranged and with full consent from all parties.
- We have plenty of machines on stock in the UK, we are still accepting orders.
- We are still able to deliver whole goods, but we will take a flexible approach to this and deliveries will be prearranged and at the consent of all parties.
MARKETING:
With many shows and events already cancelled, our attentions have now turned to alternative marketing channels to provide effective methods of communicating with our customers.
- Our Bib and brace campaign for mowers, tedders and rakes is still running with focus on web content, social media and magazines.
- We are expanding our social media content to provide support for those affected and to do our part in keeping the farming community spirit alive.
AFTERSALES:
As the grass season approaches, we understand that customers’ machines require winter servicing. Our Aftersales team remain on hand to assist.
- Our Territory Product Support Managers and Technical Support Specialists are fully contactable by phone, email, video call etc. to offer advice.
- Operation manuals, are available on KRONEmedia @ www.krone-uk.com/english/services
- Visits by KRONE personnel are limited to ‘essential visits’ only following social distancing protocols.

PARTS:
To support the winter servicing and repair of machines, along with preparation for the forthcoming season, our parts department remains fully open.
- Our out of season parts delivery service is currently running as scheduled.
- Our parts warehouse @ Micklefield is closed for collections by dealers and customers until further notice.

- We have plenty of parts on stock in the UK and we’re still accepting orders as usual.
