ScotGrass 2016 Highlights
When faced with the current challenges in the industry, producing top quality forage is vital to farm profitability. With a focus on how to get the most out of your KRONE machinery, thousands flocked to our working demo at ScotGrass, Dumfries on Wednesday 18th May to learn about grass production and watch the latest forage equipment in action. The event proved to be successful with an overall positive atmosphere on the stand
The event saw the new BiG X 630 and 770 models in action with new design features aiming to maximise performance and durability whilst remaining simple to operate and service and ensure operator comfort. Six feed rollers ensure that optimum crop flow is achieved even in inconsistent swaths and the MaxFlow drum produces twice the crop carrying capacity.
The ActiveMow also made its working debut showing off its simple, robust design providing a side pivoting mower bed and spring suspension making it ideal for small to medium farmers.
The interest at the show wasn’t just focused on new machines, with a lot of visitors interested in Krone Forage Solutions, our retail division providing a route to market for pre-owned and used forage equipment of all brands. All our Krone machines are stamped with our seal of approval meaning you can benefit from attractive retail finance and limited Krone warranty at an affordable price.
Our merchandise shop was also a success with our new ‘Weapons of Grass Destruction’ t-shirts available along with a new range of hoodies, softshells and jumpers.
