As Product Support Workshop Foreman for the Krone UK team based in Seaton Ross, you will be reporting to the Service Manager and your main duties will be to support the Krone UK Sales and After Sales on service issues. You will be working closely with both Territory Sales Managers and Territory Product Support Managers to ensure that support is available for demonstration and second hand machines both in-house at Krone UK and in the field throughout the UK.

In addition you will:

  • Maintain, refurbish, service & repair Krone part exchange and demo machines to a high standard. These machines must be completed with the highest quality finish whereby the machine is ready for immediate work
  • Work closely with Krone UK Operations Manager for clean delivery of placement and location of demonstration machines
  • Management of own workload including members of workshop staff where appropriate, and assist others when required
  • Management of workshop staff to maximise output and efficiency in a controlled, supportive and competent manor – this will include delivering PDP to support staff performance growth
  • Ensure all records for Krone UK machines are maintained in terms of hours, acres and bale count
  • Alert when any Krone UK demonstration equipment is damaged by a customer immediately, so a charge can be passed to the appropriate dealer
  • Alert Krone UK Management of any outstanding issues with demonstration equipment
  • Work closely with Krone UK Service Manager to effect solutions in a timely manner

Training

In order to continuously keep up with growing demands and innovative technology, permanent training and qualification courses of drivers and sales and service employees are essential factors for success.

  • You will receive sought after training in Germany over the winter to have full training on Krone equipment and systems – this will require the understanding and flexibility that training takes place in Spelle, Germany
  • You will be required to actively participate in Company Training and Health & Safety Training. This means you will also conduct yourself in accordance with Krone UK’s Health & Safety Policies at all times and report and breaches, dangerous occurrence or accidents to your supervisor or Health & Safety Representative immediately
  • You will attain and maintain Krone product knowledge and inform your supervisor when you need support
  • You will attain and maintain good market and competitor knowledge and inform your supervisor when you need additional knowledge or support
