fourth generation EasyCut F 320

Front mounted mowers suitable for every application

With the fourth generation of the EasyCut F 320, KRONE presents the all new front mounted mower without conditioner that can be customised thanks to the modular design and three attachment options to meet individual operational requirements.
In addition to the compactness, the machine is characterised by the modular design, which allows it to be configured individually. The customer can choose between push, pull and plus variants of the headstock according to their operational requirements. An auger for swath merging can be either factory fitted on request or retrofitted at a later time if necessary. All models are presented in a new, cutting-edge design. Tightly stretched guard cloths ensure clear contours, which help minimise dirt deposits and increase the lifetime of the machine by providing additional protection.

Three attachment options for maximum flexibility
Push version
for particularly hilly terrain: Thanks to its lightweight design and close connection to the tractor, the push headstock is a particularly compact unit. Oscillation of the lower links and the optional telescopic top link ensure optimum adaptation of the mowers to slightly uneven ground – both lengthways and crossways to the direction of travel. The bearing pressure can be easily adjusted via springs without tools, thereby ensuring high cutting quality.
Pull version for flat surfaces and high working speeds: Thanks to the simple adaptation to various tractors, the Pull headstock is particularly versatile. In particular, the kinematics ensure that the mower not only deflect upwards but also backwards in the event of contact with an obstacle. This guarantees maximum safety. Hydraulic relief for the mower is integrated as standard and can be conveniently adjusted from the tractor cabin. A single-acting control unit is all that is needed to regulate the bearing pressure or to insert or lift the mower.
Plus variant for daily fresh forage harvesting and for tractors with active lower link relief: The Plus headstock is exclusive to the fourth-generation EasyCut F 320 and has been specially developed for use on slopes and for forage harvesting in highland regions. The machine is attached by means of an A-frame. The generous transverse oscillation occurs in the headstock. A single-acting pendulum stop cylinder increases stability at the headland and when travelling on roads. Thanks to the particularly easy attachment and removal, the Plus headstock stands out due to its high level of comfort in everyday use.

Proven technology for optimum cuts
The technical basis for the EasyCut F 320 with a working width of 3.16 m is provided by the EasyCut cutterbar, which is fully welded, permanently lubricated and low maintenance. With its five or six cutting discs and two mower drums, as well as SafeCut and SmartCut, this cutterbar guarantees a clean and safe cut every time.

Optional merger auger can be selected
A 450-mm diameter merger auger can be factory fitted on request for all mowers. It transports the mown crop between the tractor tyres to ensure that the forage is not run over and its quality impaired. The swath width can be adapted to various wheel spacings of tractors and downstream harvesting machines, such as loading and forage transport wagons, using deflector sheets.
Since these front mounted mowers do not have a conditioner, they are very lightweight and can be operated with tractors with power over roughly 50 kW.

Equipment for even more comfort and safety
The front mounted mowers are equipped with a folding front guard as standard, which can be easily opened for maintenance or blade changing. The cutterbar is therefore quickly and safely accessible – for maximum user-friendliness with minimum effort.
An optional lighting system is available for transport on public roads. This increases visibility in road traffic and offers additional safety at dusk and in poor visibility conditions. Hydraulically folding side guards are also optionally available. The guards can be folded in and out easily and conveniently from the tractor seat using a double-acting control unit. This guarantees even more comfort when transporting the machine and a narrow transport width of less than 3 m.

Conclusion: With the new fourth generation EasyCut F 320, KRONE offers another front mounted mowers which, thanks to their innovative design, are not only extremely durable and easy to maintain but also particularly flexible in terms of their use. Whether as a solo machine or in combination with rear mounted mowers, EasyCut F front mounted mowers enable efficient and reliable grass harvesting at the highest level.
