Position – Territory Product Support Manager - North of England

Location – North of England

Job Type - Full Time, Field Based

Salary – Competitive

As Territory Product Support Manager for Krone UK, your territory will be North of England. You will be reporting to the Service Manager and you will be responsible for working with our dealer network to support all Krone machines in their recognised area. In addition you will:

  • Handle all dealer and customer technical queries to the highest standard ensuring a top level of customer support in all aspects of after sales service.
  • Work closely with all dealers in your territory, you will look to develop the dealers after sales strategy, advise dealers of training and parts requirements and develop a strong and trusted working relationship.
  • Work closely with your Territory Sales Manager to provide a unified support to the dealer network.
  • Manage own workload including an even split of time spent with all dealers in your territory, deliver consistent support at all times, and ensure all dealers know they can communicate with you whenever they may require.
  • Alert Krone UK Management of any outstanding issues with dealers, machines or any concerns you may have.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have experience of the agricultural industry and equipment
  • Have technical experience of forage equipment (not essential as training provided)
  • Be a strong team player with a high level of autonomy and influence
  • Build and maintain good relations with company staff, dealers and acquaintances
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Look presentable at all times maintaining the Krone reputation and image
  • Promote excellence in aftersales care
  • Show honesty, integrity and professionalism
  • Receptive to new ideas and welcomes change
  • Make appropriate decisions in response to pressures and priorities

Training

To continuously meet evolving demands and stay ahead of innovative technology, ongoing training and qualification programs for drivers, sales, and service personnel are crucial.

  • You will receive sought after training in Germany over the winter to have full training on Krone equipment and systems – this will require the understanding and flexibility that training takes place in Spelle, Germany
  • You will be required to actively participate in Company Training and Health & Safety Training. This means you will also conduct yourself in accordance with Krone UK’s Health & Safety Policies at all times and report and breaches, dangerous occurrence or accidents to your supervisor or Health & Safety Representative immediately
  • You will develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Krone products
  • You will build and maintain a strong understanding of the market and competitors
